Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Joseph Larmor, Secretary of the Royal Society |
Date | 26 November 1910 |
Description | 1. A paper by Lord Rayleigh on 'The sensibility of the eye to variations of wave length in the yellow region of the spectrum' has been received this morning, estimated at six pages in length. Harrison has sent it to the printers to put it up in type as he thought that Larmor might want it down for reading on 8 December with Sir William de Wiveleslie Abney's paper.
2. Nothing is being done about Kirkby's paper because the reference to Professor [Ernest] Rutherford was to be in special terms, and the reading of the paper on Thursday may have modified the situation.
3. Sending a letter from Karl Pearson regarding Andrade's paper [no enclosures]. |
