TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Sidney Frederic Harmer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 December 1910
DescriptionThanks him for returning Sectional Committee minutes. It is part of the original Constitution of the Sectional Committees that Secretaries do not attend them officially and that none of the Officers of the Royal Society are ex-officio members. They can attend under Standing Order 15 as an amicus curiae. In the early years of the Sectional Committees this was so strictly observed that neither of the Principal Secretaries ever attended their meetings.
