Title | Copy letter from Joseph Larmor, to Mrs [Hertha] Ayrton |
Date | 2 March 1911 |
Description | On submitting the referees' remarks on her paper to the communicator, Dr [John Henry] Poynting he agreed entirely that there was no object in sending them to her. He now under pressure suggests that this may be reconsidered. For finality's sake, Larmor is sending the manuscript, which is to be returned. Larmor thinks the Committee will insist on their decision that the theoretical part of the paper cannot be printed, and that if the india rubber box part is to stay it must be condensed to a brief statement, and that many of the figures, including four, five, six and seven must go. |
