TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor F [Francis] W [Wall] Oliver FRS
Date30 April 1911
Description'We are about to issue the annual advertisement for the Mackinnon Studentships, but before doing so it is desireable to know whether either of the present holders proposes to offer himself for reappointment. We know that the Physics man will not do so: the Biological man is Mr T Goodey who is investigating the protozoa of the soil at Rothamsted, and unless you know of any circumstances which would make him ineligible for re-appointment, it is proposed to write and ask him whether he desires to offer himself for a second year.
Will you kindly tell me at your earliest convenience if you know of anything to make it undesirable to give him this opening.'
