TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor A [Alfred] Fowler FRS
Date3 May 1911
My Charles W Raffety FRAS is desirous of exhibiting on May 10th some negatives showing the forms assumed by the electric "brush" discharge in air at various pressures. We do not know anything of Mr Raffety here, but on the occasion of his visit he mentioned that you were acquainted with his work in general.
Perhaps therefore you will be good enough to send us a few lines as to Mr Raffety's scientific credentials for the information of Sir Joseph Larmor.'
