|Title||Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor G [George] Carey Foster FRS, Chairman of the Library Committee|
|Date||3 May 1911|
|Description||'You may like to know the state of affairs with regard to the Library. |
The new Catalogue, the construction of which was sanctioned by Council last year on the recommendation of the Library Committee, is making good progress in Mr Ellston's hands under the direction of Mr Newcombe, and I enclose a short note of the stage reached at the end of March. There does not seem much point in reporting this intermediate stage to the Committee, and as there are only a few applications for the exchange of publications it hardly seems worth while calling the Committee together at present. But if you approve, I propose to send round these applications to obtain the views of the Committee by correspondence.'
