Description'It has been brought to the notice of the Royal Society that the Directors of the Orient Steamship Company were good enough to convey to Sydney and back, free of extra charge, the instruments belonging to the expedition despatched to Vavau to observe the eclipse of April 1911; and I am directed by the PResident and Council to express to the Board of Directors the thanks of the Royal Society for this courtesy.'
