Though you are no longer Chairman of the Geology Committee I am referring to you for approval of the further steps to be taken with regard to the above paper, [?] has hitherto been dealt with under your authority.
The reports of the Referee being entirely favourable, Sir J R Bradfrd (Sec RS) suggests that the paper should go forward for PHil Trans under Standing Order 43, in anticipation of the decision of Committee. Will you please minute your approval or otherwise of this step?'
