TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to the Secretary, Hm Office of Works, Storey's Gate, SW
Date4 March 1912
Description'It is found, after an inspection by the officers of your Works Department, that a waste pipe from one of the lavatories in this building needs renewing and fitting with different arrangements for cleansing, &c, and fittings were originally put in by your Department in connection with the general reorganisation of the drainage of this building some years ago; the Society would be glad if you would give instructions to have the necessary work executed by your Works Department.
I understand that the cost of the work would be approximately £9, and whether the Officer of Works of the Society has to bear the expense of the renewal, it would be more satisfactory if HM Office of Works would undertake the execution of the work.'
