I am now sending for the first proofs Chapters 9, 10 and 11 of the Record; completing, so far as I know at present, the copy for the text of the book as distinguished from Lists of Fellows, &c. We shall be glad to see proofs as soon as practicable of these, and the President has asked me to say that he is getting rather anxious to have proofs in of Chapters 7 and 8 sent to you some little time ago now, some of it for slip proof: as the lists in those Chapters will want careful revision.' |
