Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir G [George] H [Howard] Darwin, KCB, FRS |
Date | 23 April 1912 |
Description | 'I am much obliged by your note enclosing the telegram which you received yesterday and which I return to you. As my letter of yesterday will have explained to you, the telegram was from me, but I certainly signed it "Royal Society", and the ridiculous form in which it was delivered to you is a very extravagant instance of the sort of mistakes that are frequently made in the telegraph service here; and, at whichever end the blunder was made, I hope you will try and bring it home to the offender.' |
