TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Bertram Hopkinson, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date12 June 1912
DescriptionHarrison has consulted the President and he says that with regards to the restriction to 'wives and daughters' the Royal Society cannot go beyond the stipulation which both the Lord Chamberlain and the Duke of Northumberland have made. The only thing which can be done is, when they have ascertained the number of Fellows who wish to bring other relations, to lay their case as a whole before the above-mentioned authorities.
