TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to William Duddell, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date17 June 1912
DescriptionHarrison has consulted the President and he says with regard to the 'wives and daughters' stipulation, the Royal Society cannot go beyond this rule which the Lord Chamberlain and the Duke of Northumberland have made. The only thing which can be done is to ascertain the number of Fellows who wish to bring other relations, and to lay the case as a whole before the aforementioned authorities.
