TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor A P Goubaroff
Date2 July 1912
DescriptionThere is no fixed rule about dress or robes to be worn at the Royal Society's 250th Anniversary events, other than the advice in the programme that it is an ordinary custom to wear a morning-coat and silk hat at a garden party. Orders are usually only worn with academic or other formal dress, not with a frock coat or morning-coat. A ticket to the Westminster Abbey service will be duly sent to his nephew.
