DescriptionThe observations of the Solar Eclipse of April 28 1911 were made at Vavau in the Tonga Islands. His note as to the number of Fellows and Foreign Members on 1 January is correct. Unfortunately Harrison does not have time to give particulars regarding the career of Mr Rix, but he will find what he wishes in Rix's biographical notice.
