Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Charles Chree, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 6 June 1912 |
Description | Harrison is adding one other matter to the agenda for the Gassiot Committee in addition to those in Chree's note of yesterday. It is to do with the announcement which was made to Council some months ago that Falmouth Observatory proposes to discontinue its magnetic observations after this year. It is supposed that the Gassiot Committee ought to know this, even though Falmouth is not one of the observatories under its direct scheme of jurisdiction. Presumes that the matter of an anemometer at Kew will go forward in Dr [William Napier] Shaw's report. |
