TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Surgeon General Sir David Bruce, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date4 November 1912
DescriptionHis letter of 16 September reached Harrison this morning and led to another hunt for the drawings. As he has previously stated, no one from Mr White to the office boy has any recollection of such drawings being brought here. It was to his great amazement that a parcel of manuscript connected with Sleeping Sickness was found under some boxes in a room downstairs. Upon opening it it was found to contain another parcel in which are a large number of drawings which are likely the ones Bruce wants. They are being sent immediately.

Apologises for keeping them so long, but the mystery is still not solved, as no one has any recollection of how the parcel arrived. Whoever is responsible must have had the matter knocked out of his head by the summer madness. Has not kept his promise to write a personal letter, but will do so before long. Has not been keeping very well of late.
