Description'I have the pleasure to nform you that the President and Council of the Royal Society have awarded to you a Royal Medal for your researches in mathematical physics, and especially for your investigations on the theory of spectioscopy.
It is hoped that you may be able to attend the Aniversary Meeting of the Society (November 30, at 4pm) to receive the Medal in person.'
