| Description | 'Your paper on "Ionic size in relation to molecular physics etc", has been the subject of prolonged consideration by the Society and was finally discussed by a Committee of the Society this week. The Committee desired me to say that they are preapred to recommend the publication of the paper, but consider that without any loss to its interest it might be material abbreviated by the omission of the arithmetical calculations, the tabular results being in their opinion sufficient to convey your meaning to the scientific reader.
If you accept this proposal and will kindly carry out the suggested emendations, the Committee think that the paper in its condensed form might most appropriately be published in the Proceedings.' |
