Description | Miss Robertson will have received a cable message from the Colonial Office informing that her propsal to go to Khartoun and work in the Wellcome Research Laboratory at the splenomegaly of dogs was not favourably entertained by the Commitee of the Royal Society. The Committee were, however, anxious not to lose the advantage of such further investigation and discussed her two alternative proposals. The conclusion reached was that the suggestion for Miss Robertson to stay in Uganda and work out the life-cycle of the organism occuring in a hemiterous insect there. Miss Robertson's paper on "Notes on the life-history of trypanosoma gamiense &c' is now going forward for publication in the Philosophical Transactions. |
