TitleCopy letter from Alfred Bray Kempe, to Sir Robert Chalmers
Date30 May 1913
DescriptionEnquires whether it would be possible for Kempe, Sir Archibald Geikie, and Dr [Richard Tetley] Glazebrook, Director of the National Physical Laboratory, to have an interview with Chalmers as to the growing financial responsibility which the Royal Society is incurring regarding the National Physical Laboratory. The Council of the Royal Society thinks the situation requires some action, but that it would be desirable that facts should be placed before Chalmers informally and his advice sought before deciding what action to take.
