Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir Ronald Ross, Fellow of the Royal Society |
Date | 11 June 1913 |
Description | The paper by Messrs J G and D Thomson, communicated by Ross, has been under consideration and it is proposed to recommend it for 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]', with the suggestion that the paper could be shortened considerably.
The paper by Messrs Blacklock and Yorke, also communicated by Ross, has been under consideration, but in view of criticisms made by a Fellow to whom it was referred, Harrison has been directed by the Chairman of the Sectional Committee to suggest that the paper should be withdrawn with a view to publication elsewhere. It will be necessary to give an undertaking in writing that the paper will be considered as not having been communicated to the Royal Society at all. |
