TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to R Holmes, King's College, Strand, W.C.
Date17 April 1891
Description'Dear Mr Holmes,
I am instructed by the Catalogue Committee to request that you will suspend operations upon the supplementary volume for the present. The plan will perhaps be somewhat modified. I shall probably be able to let you hear further in about a month's time. Meanwhile you had better send what references are still in your hands, and let me know in what sum we are indebted to you up to the present time.
Yours truly
Herbert Rix
Asst Sec RS [Assistant Secretary, Royal Society]'.
