TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir G M Humphrey, Grove Lodge, Cambridge
Date28 April 1891
DescriptionRix notes that his receipt book shows a counterfoil for four pounds paid on 5 January 1891, but their pass-book suggests that his bankers paid the four pounds on 30 January. He asks whether Humphrey's account tallies with his, and if so, whether both payments were for annual contribution. If so, Rix must refund, but he would like to statement verified before he does so.
