TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Oliver Heaviside, Fellow of the Royal Society, Paignton, Devon
Date18 June 1891
DescriptionRix reports that the question of whether Heaviside's article for the "Electrician" overlaps with his paper which was read at the Royal Society that afternoon, and whether that would endanger its publication in 'Transactions of the Royal Society' or 'Proceedings of the Royal Society', has been put to the referee, who will report to Council. The Secretaries have requested him to give a speedy answer, so as not to delay the publication of his article in the 'Electrician'. Rix hopes to write again in a day or two.
