With respect to the Committee appointed at the last meeting of Council to advise upon a successor to Mr Hind, I think I understand from Dr Foster that you wd [would] take the matter in hand, and that you would let me know if any meeting of the Committee shd [should] be desirable. I send the present line only to make sure that there is no misunderstanding & that the matter will not be overlooked.
