TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Sir William Thomson, President of the Royal Society
Date29 September 1891
DescriptionRix states that he is sending by book post copies of seven Presidential addresses, and a set of the Council minutes for the current session. Although he does not have the Presidential address for 1889, he can send the relevant number of 'Proceedings of the Royal Society' instead if Thomson wishes.

Rix also encloses two scraps, to be altered or rejected as Thomson wishes. He will be able to send additional details later, relating to publication in particular.

In a postscript Rix also offers to send an album of cuttings to assist with the obituary, but notes that Thomson should only send for this when he is ready, as it is heavily used.
