Title | Copy letter from Herbert Rix, to Mr W Poore, 141 Ossulston Street, Somers Town |
Date | 1 October 1891 |
Description | Rix asks that they begin work on the annual suit for their Janitor at the Royal Society's Anniversary. He also apologises for having lost of their receipt of four pounds for a porter's suit of livery from 20 November, and asks if they will supply a duplicate receipt to appease their auditors, who will otherwise charge them four pounds. Simply adding the word 'duplicate' to the bill will be 'quite legitimate & will serve the purpose'. |
