He also apologises for having lost of their receipt of four pounds for a porter's suit of livery from 20 November, and asks if they will supply a duplicate receipt to appease their auditors, who will otherwise charge them four pounds. Simply adding the word 'duplicate' to the bill will be 'quite legitimate & will serve the purpose'. |
