The Treasurer directs me to explain in answer to your note of the 30th inst. [instant] that annual contributions count[?] from Mch [March] 25 to Mch 25, and that if you pay £57 any time before March 25 1892, it will be accepted as the amount due for a life composition, £3 having already been paid during the current financial year.
