Description'Replying to your letter of the 18th instant, I have instructed our printers to prepare and forward direct to you electros of the Figs 9, 10, 22, and 12 of Plate 9 in the Philosophical Transactions Volume 200 A.
This is done, of course, subject to the formal permission of Council, and provided that you have obtained the consent of the author, who I find is Sir Alfred Ewing and not Dr Rosenhain as mentioned in your previous letter. Please let me have a line on this matter.'
