Description'Your paper on "The physical phenomena observed in blood and blood cells &c" has been carefully considered by the Physiology Committee, and I am directed to say that they are of opinion that the theory should re reconsidered in the light of the enclose criticisms, for which purpose I return the paper to you on loan. The Committee are also of opinion that the paper might with advantage be considerably shortened.'
