TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Sir John Wolfe Barry KCB, FRS
Date24 November 1914
Description'Replying to your letter of the 23rd instant, I should personally be most happy to help in making out Mr Parsons' certificate, but I regret that I am not allowed to make out certificates for candidates; the wording of the Statutes having been interpreted to mean that the proposer must undertake this duty.
I am therefore sending you, together with which should be returned here fully signed not later than the 31st December next.'
