Description'Replying to your of the 18th instant, I am sorry that my letter failed to reach you in time to be of use, and do not understand how the delay in delivery occurred as it was posted before 6-0 on Wednesday last.
I now enclose for your information a summary of the lecture, which will be published in the Proceedings of the Royal Society in probably about six weeks time, when it will be on sale of Messrs Harrison & Sons, 46 St Martin's Lane, WC, at the published price.'
