TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to the Director, Lister Institute
Date28 June 1915
Description'Lord Lister deceased.
Messrs Mackrell & Co., solicitors, inform me that on January 26th 1914, they forwarded to the Lister Institute a number of Income Tax vouchers, intimating at the time that other holders of the Stocks to which the vouchers related might require their production.
The usual steps are now being taken by Messrs W B Keen & Co, our Accountants, for income tax recovery in respect of Royal Society funds, and I should therefore be obliged if you will lend me, for their use, the documents referred to by Messrs Mackrell & Co.'
