TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society to Spencer Percival Umfreville Pickering FRS
Date23 September 1915
Description'In reply to your letter of September 21st, the only information we have about the Fellows of a century or more ago is the certificates of their election, which in the 18th century were very brief and perfunctory; but if you wish it, the certificate of Roger Pickering can be looked up and a copy sent to you. I find that he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society on May 10, 1744.'
