Title | Copy letter from [Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society]; to Professor [Edward Bagnall] Poulton, FRS |
Date | 1 June 1917 |
Description | Responds to three previous enquiries from Professor [Edward Bagnall] Poulton. With regards to the case of Mrs. Vaughan, notes that it came before the Scientific Relief Committee in March 1916; not as a reference from the Prime Minister, rather as an application for a grant, and £100 was voted. With regards to printing Carpenter's Sleeping Sickness paper, notes that the Society is awaiting the report of Mr. Fiske. Finally, directs Professor Poulton towards Statute 76, page 71 of the Year Book, where it is stated that the original copy of every paper received at the Society shall be considered the property of the Society. |
