DescriptionInforms Sir Frank Heath that the Council approved the formulation of paragraph eight of the proposed new scheme for the administration of the National Physical Laboratory. Gives consent, on behalf of the Council, to the provisions for the future control of the Laboratory according to the agreement enclosed [not enclosed]. Notes that an agreement still needs to be come to on the wording of paragraphs 4 to 13 of the original scheme, which are consequential on the new agreement.
