Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society; to A. Thomson Esquire; India Office, Whitehall, S.W.l |
Date | 19 May 1919 |
Description | Informs Mr. A. Thomson that the Society's Tropical Diseases Committee was officially discharged at the end of 1914 owing to the war, however, has recently been reconstituted for making arrangements for renewing the project of an expedition to the Sudan. Writes that if Sir Havelock Charles is willing to resume service on the Committee, the Council will be glad to reappoint him a member. Asks whether it would be opportune for the Indian Office to participate in the enquiry and contribute to its expenses. |
