DescriptionAdvises that a report by the referee Dr AE [Arthur Edwin] Boycott, [FRS], on the paper 'The genesis of oedema in beriberi' (second report) by Lt-Col R McCarrison for publication in 'The Proceedings of the Royal Society' is favourable, subject to the removal of the words 'second report' on the grounds the first paper was not accepted for publication by the Royal Sociey. Requests Professor FG [Frederick Gowland] Hopkins, FRS, Chairman of the Physiology Committee nominate a second referee.
