DescriptionAsks that before they pass the enclosed account for payment [not enclosed], they would be glad if they would note pencilled comments. Advises they haven't received the first number of the 'Madrid thing,' and that they had returned Giornale di Matematiche Vol. LIII as they had received it in 1915. Expresses disatisfaction with paying for francs and lire at the 'exorbitant exchange rate you charge,' that they do so under protest and have discovered other booksellers offer far more favourable terms. He says they are sorry to break their connection with Dulau & Co. after over a century. Says the home subscriptions for the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society (separate papers)' will continue for now.
