TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Sydney Howard Vines, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 October 1892
DescriptionRix apologises but the printers have accidentally destroyed the copy of Vines's Medal claim for Sir J D Hooker with the envelope in which it was sent to them. This is troublesome to the Society as well as vexing to Vines because they are on the eve of printing off the medal claims and must get this done before the end of the coming week. Rix wonders if Vines can send a replacement.
