TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Messrs Macmillan & Company
Date7 October 1892
DescriptionIn accordance with the notice in today's 'Times', Rix asks if the Messrs will submit to Lady Tennyson this application for cards of admission to the reserved seats in the Abbey on the occasion of the funeral of the Poet Laureate. Lord Tennyson was a distinguished Fellow and at one time a frequent visitor to the Society.

Rix is aware that the number of places is limited but as many cards as can be spared for the Officers and Council of the Society would be appreciated. Provides the names of the Officers and encloses the names of the 16 members of Council [not attached].
