TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Oliver Joseph Lodge, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date26 April 1892
DescriptionRix is ordering the lantern and Grove cells [for Lodge's Soirée exhibit] and depends on Lodge to supply the Wimhurst machine and hand screen. There is no sink in the room but one just outside and Rix wonders if this is adequate.

The Ladies Soirée is 15 June but invitations have not yet been sent out. Fellows cannot invite friends but can make suggestions to be submitted to the Soirée Committee and Lodge should send them soon.
