TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to M P A Merlateau, a Sainte-Sabine, par Beaumont, Dordogne
Date18 February 1892
DescriptionIn reply to Merlateau's letter of 9 February addressed to the President, before any paper can be brought before a meeting of the Royal Society it must be endorsed by a Fellow as being suitable. No paper previously communicated to another academy can be read at a Royal Society meeting and from Merlateau's letter it appears the paper sent had already been sent to the Academy at Paris. Rix therefore returns the paper enclosed with thanks.
