Description | Informs the Secretary that Council have been considering the possible adhesion of the United Kingdom to the proposed International Geological Union, of which provisional Statutes were drawn up at the Brussels meeting of the International Research Council. Notes that the Conjoint Board have recommended a Conference of Neutral and Allied Geologists be held in London in order that the question of the International Union be considered, something that the Council of the Society feel the Geological Society would be best placed to organise. Asks the Secretary to put it before his Council. |
