Title | Copy letter from William Bate Hardy, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Sir Sidney [Frederic] Harmer, Chairman of the Zoology Committee and FRS |
Date | 8 January 1921 |
Description | Reminds Sir Sidney [Frederic] Harmer that at the last meeting of the Zoology Committee it was decided that no further action be taken on the paper by Fantham and Porter unless they could submit a specimen for examination by the Society. Informs him that a letter has now been received from the authors saying they are prepared to show a specimen. Suggests that it is only fair to facilitate this and, if the parasite is found to be present in the specimen, rethink the the question of publication. Asks whether Sir Harmer concurs. |
