Title | Copy letter from James Hopwood Jeans, Secretary of the Royal Society; to Dr. [Henry] Forster Morley, Director of the International Catalogue of Scientific Literature |
Date | 3 February 1921 |
Description | Responds to Dr. [Henry] Forster Morley's comments on his draft letter ragarding the International Catalogue. Agrees with most of Dr. Morley's comments, however, takes issue with his statement to Professor Nasini that the Society thinks it better to postpone calling the International Catalogue until after it has received answer to this letter. Explains that the Society has taken no decision on what it will do after receiving these answers and only Council can make a statement on behalf of the Society on this matter. |
