TitleCopy letter from Francis Alexander Towle, Assistant Secretary and Librarian of the Royal Society; to The Librarian of Universitats-Bibliothek (Tauschabteilung); Heidelberg, Germany
Date31 July 1923
DescriptionReplies to an earlier letter informing the librarian that no proposals can be settled until the Library Committee meets again. Fears that due to post-war increase in quantity and expense of the Royal Society's publications, it cannot offer in exchange more than the double series (Physical and Biological) for the two series (Sitzber. and Abhandl.) of the Math.-nat. Klasse of the Heidelberg Akademie der Wissenschaften. Also proposes exchanging the Reports of the Evolution Committee and the Sleeping Sickness Commission for the Verhandlungen of the Naturh.-med. Verein.
