DescriptionInforms Sir Richard [Tetley] Glazebrook that the Council have discussed the Kelvin Centenary Celebration and would like to discuss it further with representatives from the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, and the Institution of Naval Architects; the Council have also approved Glazebrook's idea of hosting an Evening Reception and a Soiree, showing off such things as the Newton relics, Boyle's air-pump, and some pictures. Discusses issues of room space and limiting the guest list accordingly.
