DescriptionInforms Sir Israel Gollancz that the Council have appointed Sir David Prain and Professor [John Millar] Thomson as representatives of the Royal Society on the Committee which is being formed by the British Academy to organise a gift of books to the Library of the Imperial University at Tokyo, Japan [following the destruction of the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake].
